When I hooked up my iPod onto the USB cable and plugged it into the computer, everything was fine. Mind you, this isn’t my normal computer, it’s my grandma’s (hahah! but she has a very up-to-date one). The pop-up box said the normal thing “Import Pictures And Videos Using Windows”. I clicked on that, but it said “No New Pictures Were Found”.
I noticed that Windows only lets you upload recent photos, but this is my FIRST time uploading on this computer, and all I want to do is upload ALL of them. Not the most recent ones. Is there anyway I could change this setting, or any other way I could upload my pics and videos? Please help! I am in desperate need of it!

July 29, 2012Instead of choosing the Import pictures option, select Open folder to view files, grab the files you want and drop them to the location of your choice. Or you could install iTunes on the computer.

July 29, 2012Bruce is right. You can open the iPod from your My Computer, and there is a folder with all the photos and videos inside. You can then copy and paste them into a folder of your choice. You can also install dropbox on the iPod and it will automatically back-up your photos to the camera uploads folder in dropbox.

July 29, 2012Install Itunes and it will be very easy to import the media …
sorry, but what for? Syncing photos via iTunes means FROM the computer TO the iPod, not vice versa
July 29, 2012First of all, you can only import photos to your computer you took with your iPod’s camera (or screenshots), i.e. all what’s in your camera roll, not those you synced to it via iTunes. Might work with application like iExplorer (sorry, for Mac, but similar might exist for Windows), never tried.
For all what’s in the camera roll Bruce and Jen are right – Windows treats the iPod just as every other digital camera, so either use the camera wizard or open the iPod in “my computer” and copy all the photos and videos.

July 29, 2012Connect your iPod up to your computer, go to ‘my computer’ select your iPod, and there should be a folder with all your pics in which you can just copy and paste on your computer.
