What you’ve mentioned here isn’t the right price. The rig is gonna be more expensive for you. Don’t just convert the USD to Rs and assume the price. For example, i bought the H50 for 5K two days back. and my entire rig costed me 81,025. The worst part is, I still got a 30K to spend, for my GTX 580… anyways, here’s my config so far:

If you are talking about the Gladiator 600, the h50 should be ok. It might be a little tight though… The corsair h50 comes with a radiator and a fan that it is recommended in a pull configuration. If you want to make the most out of the h50, it is better to add another fan and have a pull/push configuration. The thing though, is that you will have to locate the psu at the bottom instead of top.

If you are talking about the Intex cabinet I have no idea because in my part of the world I have never heard of them. Also, they have different ones….I do not know wich one you have.

Both the AMD Phenom X6 1100T and the 1075T use socket AM3. As long as your motherboard has socket AM3 it should be ok. In my opinion, you can build a really nice system with AMD…as long as you have the proper ventilation. Also AMD is cheaper than Intel based.

I have a shop here that keeps processors and I’m pretty sure that the other components (or comparable alternatives) will be there. Also should I get AMD Phenom X6 1100T or 1075T with an AMD motherboard? The only worry is the cabinet. Will it support liquid cooling?

I meant that should I apply the above mentioned upgrades or get a 200$-250$ Android tablet and a wireless router for another 50$-80$.

I would say the deal does not sound bad… but I am pretty sure that by the time you get the rest of your money (1 1/2 months) you will probably be able to get better deals. How easy is it to get those parts where you are? Do you have to pay for shipping, delivery, etc.? You have to take that into consideration too.

You do not talk about the tablet….in any case I would rather have a desktop than a tablet any day, but that is a personal preference.

I don’t really understand your initial question. Upgrading your Desktop or buying a tablet are two different shoes ~ one doesn’t give you the benefits of the other.

Anyways, I don’t know the taxes on hardware for you but the prices do seem to be ok.

If you get 450$ for your old system that is a sweet deal. But I doubt someone will go for it since the components are worth less [buying them retail, not used].

Your “new system” looks fine except for the PSU. The 450W should be sufficient for the system but you can easily get a 600W Corsair PSU for the same price [lower utilization, less heat, longer life time].
