      Check to see whether you have Google Play or android Market app installed in your phone.If it's not available,then you may need to sideload apps from third party sites to enjoy app experience.

    The method suggested by Shakirah Faleh Lai is the safe one;

    How to install Android 2.3 Gingerbread / Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich / Custom ROMs from scratch on the Orange San Francisco / ZTE Blade / ZTE Libra U-V880

    It depends on what version of Android you already have installed. At 600Mhz, the Blade isn't going to get many official upgrades beyond Froyo (2.2).

    However, if you're willing to root and (void the warranty) you can upgrade the Blade to CyanogenMod 7, which is a custom variant of Gingerbread 2.3.

    Unfortunately, the directions are somewhat complicated and can easily brick your device.

    Here are some much easier directions. And the instructions vary depending on whether or not you have a generation 1 or a generation 2 build Blade. Good luck!

    For most android devices go to about > update then choose update method. Check this for ZTE http://nokik.blogspot.com/2012/01/my-experience-updating-android-froyo-to.html.
