July 30, 2012Piece of cake! I can’t take credit for this, but the folks on the Phandroid forums are a great resource for almost any questions about android product!
Visit this link:
http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-mini-s5570/481767-samsung-galaxy-pop-indian-official-update-2-3-6-using-odin.html
It gives you complete, step-by-step instructions, as well as links to the needed files.
This is for the OFFICIAL 2.3.6 upgrade for this phone, so you aren’t doing anything shady. Good luck!

July 31, 2012You can update your phone over the air by going to Settings –>About phone –> Update. This requires a proper internet connection on your phone and a Samsung account which you’ll be asked to create if you don’t have.
You can also update it via Kies software -
