Updating the software :
Using the options suggested on samsung site :

use kie or try pc studio.

yes, you can use internet.

go to menu mode >> browser>> home
or menu >> google search

if internet is not working:
which one is your service provider? or as we generally say,which sim card you are using?
you will have to ask for the settings and then you can browse the web.
