Can I update my Samsung Galaxy Ace so it supports Kies?

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 weeks ago, but when I try to connect using the Kies app it says my device does not support updating via Kies. How can I update it to support this?

Apparently the same problems via Kies was mentioned here

they have a manual way to do the update but it can wipe all files?

possible for region problem
