try to contact the previous owner maybe he can help?

well you can try to find unlock codes outside
AT&Tebay does it apparently

noting can be true unless first it is tried, perhaps you can find cheaper.
it is up to you to decide sometime the code works for some periode of time then for another reason the phone can return to simlock situation. Before any decision contact the code supplier.
