Which type of wireless adapter should I choose for an old computer running Windows XP?

I have a Dell Dimension 5150 and I’m looking for good wireless adapter for an old PC running Windows XP.

And my question is, which to choose: PCI Express or PCI slot?

Appreciate any help.

    Hello, you should have a PCI Express 1x available on your motherboard.....If you could get a wireless adapter that has a PCI Express 1x that would be better.  If you can not find one get a PCI adapter.  If you do not want to open your case, you also have the choice of getting a usb wireless adapter, either with usb cable or plugged into the usb port itself.  For example:
