July 28, 2012According to the spec sheet at Amazon, the Huawei
Pinnacle has 66MB of user accessible internal memory.
This memory is supposed to show up as a new device (drive)
automatically when connected to your PC. Unfortunately, it appears that
the required drivers must be installed separately.
Because Huawei does not directly provide these drivers, we must resort
to driver detection software, which may or may not properly find the
required drivers. Unless I’m wrong, this is extraordinarily negligent
of Huawei!
I highly suggest installing DriverEasy,
searching for the required drivers, downloading and then installing
them.
After installing the software, connect your device.
Scan for missing/outdated drivers.
Search for missing drivers from within DriverEasy’s interface.
These will be marked as red (or perhaps yellow).
Install the missing driver from within DE’s interface.
Disconnect the device, restart the computer and reconnect the device.
Hopefully your computer will recognize your phone. Good luck!
