October 25, 2012I have a similar problem and do a USB tethering using the free software https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wingtseng123.AutoUSBTethering&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS53aW5ndHNlbmcxMjMuQXV0b1VTQlRldGhlcmluZyJd . I have been using it without any problem with my desktop.
What settings to do in desktop to enable data acceds?
October 25, 2012That is the advantage, just install this app, plug in the device to the computer with the USB cord provided with your phone, enable USB tethering in the app, enable the Mobile data connection in the phone, wait for the computer to sense the connection, and just open the browser and ready to go. No installation or configuration required at the PC end.
