How can I sync my iPhone with iTunes on Windows 7?

I have a jailbroken iPhone with a lot of imp contacts on it’s running 1.1.

I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7 and want to sync it with iTunes. Can anybody tell me how to get contacts on it?

I know you can sync your contacts to Google with it using this link http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=138740 as for iTunes I do not know if it will work with a jailbroken device but have you followed these instructions yet http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1386 ?
