June 26, 2011I suggest to look into the Console app and look in the left hand pane for a uTorrent CrashReport. It should give you some idea about why it crashed or closed.
Otherwise the easiest option probably is to remove all uTorrent settings within your homefolder under ~/Library/Application Support and ~/Library/Preferences (only remove those files and folder which have uTorrent in their name).
