I used the FXFisherman CVS splitter. It says the split was successful. When I look at the file, it hasn’t been split at all. Please tell me what went wrong. Thank you in advance!

Hello, hjsplit is a good file splitter/joiner.  It works really fast and the files get extensions like 001, 002, 003, etc.  Once all the files are in the same folder, you just have to point the program to where your number 001 file is and they will be joined/split.

Split large text and similar files like large server logs and other CSV files by number of lines or occurrences of a specified pattern. Optionally insert headers into each piece file.

you can use WinRar or 7Zip ( free ) .

right click on the file ,
select - add to archive and then under options select - split to parts , and then specify the size of each part you want .

you can even specify if you want to compress the files or not ...

click ok/archive/start / or what ever it says in the window
    and you are done ....

its the safest and fast and also economical ...

one more free file splitter i would recommend is HJ Split ( http://www.hjsplit.org/windows/

tell if you  need more help ...
