Ben Hebblethwaite asks:
My built-in webcam works fine but Skype doesn’t recognize it. Why could this be? I have an Acer Aspire 5520.

January 28, 2012Have you tried making sure it’s enabled in Skype’s options?
Go to Tools->Options in Skype, then click Video Settings under General.
If the webcam doesn’t appear as an option here, even though it works elsewhere in Windows, I’m not sure what the problem could be.
