After messing around with Synergy for the last 3 hours, it appears to have a major bug related to the keyboard and Lion as server. So Synergy is out of the equation.
Can anyone suggest another cross-platform free or paid software solution to share my Mac keyboard and mouse with the Windows 7 PC next to it?
Thanks!

That sounds perfect! Thanks ha14!
My Daughter is able to access my Windows 7 PC from Her Mac using Remote Desktop, essentially eliminating the need to move the physical equipment.
Thanks, but not really related. I have the screen here, I want to use it, not remote desktop into it.
I always use a KVM switch, but that is kind of a old fashioned way of doing it.
Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad though, I dont think any KVM does that.
Hmmm… good point. got me on that one.
I found this,

Still researching… I had troubles with Synergy and setup the KVM with a older Mac usb keyboard and mouse. But if I can find a forum where someone has used this one with a Mac I am going to give it a go on my setup.
Interesting, I know it says it has bluetooth technology, but I dont think that means it will work with keyboards. LEt us know if you find someone who can confirm though .
Did some research, found some approaches and ideas.

Alot of forums are talking about using a regular KVM and using a usb doggle, but I see some problems with that… I am just going to try it myself and see what happens.
