How can I set up a wireless connection between Sony Bravia LCD TV and my router?

My new Sony Bravia LCD TV needs a USB transmitter to wirelessly connect to my router. I have a D-link Wireless N USB adapter, but can’t get it to work on the TV. Sony manual talks about a Sony Wireless LAN adapter “sold separately”. Is this proprietary to this Sony TV, so I must use that adapter and no other? Thanks!

Hello Daniel,

Yes it is proprietary Sony hardware. Here is a link, it connects to the USB port on your TV and usually mounts on the back of it.
