January 13, 2011you go to your gmail account
than to your settings (upper right)
then you click on the forth tab with say’s filter
click on create a new filter
and then you fill the mail adress.
it’s also posible to put a label on the filterd message’s but then you have to make first the label.

January 13, 2011Yes, it is possible.
The “Create Filter” dialog might be a bit misleading ~ what you have to know is that the “Has the words:” acts like the search field. Any search operater can be put in there.
In your example you would have to setup the rule as followed
(BTW you can always click the Test Search button to see if you rule works like you wish)
To: someone@someting.com
Has the words: label:Inbox
Then click the “next step” button and select “Apply the label: f00″.

Were you able to create a filter using the recommendations above?
