Why am I not seeing the email message with the attachment on GMail?

Someone sent email & they said there was an attachment. I get nothing. I see a paper clip on the message, but no message. I tried forwarding the message over to a non-Gmail account. I get the message with the paper clip, but no message. Is something eating the attachments? This system is p***ing me off every time I try to use it. I’d like to go back to the old Outlook account. That attachment at the bottom was an earlier one and not the latest one. If there had been a way to cut out all the excess garbage I could have dropped that one and all the prior messages and only sent you the latest. Does "Select" text and "Cut" not work with Gmail or do we just live with it? Malcolm

You may need to click on the paper clip in GMail in order for the attachment to be shown at the bottom of the message.
If that's not it, can you clarify that it's the *attachment* that is missing, rather than the message text?

Clicking on the paper clip did nothing. Here is the entire message...Also it sure would be nice if there was a way to receive a message and cut out part to forward to someone without having to send the entire thing. Malcolm

Mike--Here you go with another version. Just let them know that the "real" Harley logo does not have an eagle on it

Ok. Talked to Kelley. Have a couple of changes.

William Russell Perkins = change it to the same font style used for the dates, but keep it the same font size. Bold the name.

We wanted to use the Harley Davidson symbol with the eagle. Just needed to remove the badge.

Hey Dave, Here is what the customer wants engraved on the top of an urn. The top is 8 1/2" * 10 1/2". I will remove the top so you can do it as a flat board. Can you give us the layout?

Add the Harley decal with eagle w/o the badge.

Thanks Malsolm. The last few lines in the message you attached say:
      "Attachments area

So, you should be able to click on the link in the "Preview" line to open the attachment, or on the file name in the last line to download it.
