If I recall correctly both 4shared and Mediafire only offer direct links for paid accounts – all others are session links only.

I guess you would first have to get a paid account and then use a dedicated tool for either site capable to read the direct links.

Right know I can only name Filestube as a search engine for both services. Once you click a result you do get the direct link at the bottom but as mentioned above you will have to be logged in [at either file sharing site] using a paid account to use that link.

    Google.
    syntax : “site:sitename|filetype1|fieltype2″

You can either use google to search these sites.
Or you can use search engines powered by google.

Eg. this one searches many sites, 2shared,mediafire and megaupload too! :

Not possible. It is a limitation set by file-sharing sites. This is how they generate income so they will not allow it.

Try “filetype:yourfiletype search querry”. on google.

you will get direct download links of pdf files etc.Else you can find search engines accroding to file type, for example :www.mp3skull.com provides direct download links of music/mp3 files.
