July 10, 2012Do you upgrade the firmware through laptop? If yes, firstly eject/unplug the device from PC, then plug in again unto it, after that you can do upgrading process again.

July 10, 2012If your phone is under warranty then you may try asking Samsung service center for help.
Download the firmware for your phone on your PC and thoroughly scan it for any viruses,malware using Avast or Microsoft security essentials or any better antivirus software –

If you are not able to understand mentioned steps in PDF tutorialor it doesn’t works for you, try the following steps –
1.Press the following buttons – Volume Down,Camera button,Power button.Something red coloured text will appear.
2.Connect your phone to PC and open MultiLoader 5.6.3.Select the option BRCM2133.
4.Tick on Full Download,Master Rom boxes (see the image below as attachments).
5.Tick the check boxes – Boot, Apps, Rsrc1, Rsrc2, Factory FS.6.Click on port search,Download buttons below.7.Allow it to download all the files.
8.Disconnect your phone from PC,remove the battery,SIM,Micro SD card and reinsert them.Switch on your Phone.
This must restore your phone to its original state.

I am from India and using Samsung Galaxy Y. Some days ago, I went to Samsung Service Centre, as got some water damage. And they checked that, and told me that the phone touch and jack are destroyed and have to replace these. I said okay coz my phone was under warranty. But they told me that they would charge me 4000/-. As it was near the half amount of new phone’s price. Then I went to another service centre and they told me to charge 1600/-. So I gave my phone to them as they were charging less amount then first one. But my some of friends told me that they have charged me unnecessarily. Because if our any product is under warranty, the company pay for their repair. So I contacted the centre for same but they didn’t respond me for my issue. So, I filed my complaint in Consumer Court. I just hope for great help from their side as soon as possible. I just shared my experience to aware you guys. I hope it worked.
