In Android 2.2, how can I run websites that require an ActiveX component?

    You can switch to mobile version of the website, if available.

    ActiveX is a component framework limited* to Windows operating systems.
    If the actual component required e.g. Flash Player is available for Android you can obviously install it and run the website.

    If it's ActiveX only you are out of luck.

    * There are work-arounds like installing Internet Explorer in WINE and copying the necessary ActiveX libraries from a real Windows installation but I guess that's not an option for a mobile phone
