I know how to make an .iso of a DVD and I know how to separate the video files, but I’m looking for an easy way to rip/convert multiple video files from a TV series for use in Windows Media Player from a single DVD. The ripping process can be from .iso or DVD format I don’t care.

Handbrake is a good free one, but it can only rip unprotected DVDs.

If your DVDs are commercial ones, You have to use this tool to help u rip.

Handbrake can convert videos in a batch process, so you could add it one title at a time from the DVD. Handbrake is free from http://handbrake.fr and converts into MP4 format. I've always had exceptional luck with the program.
