How can I retrieve a forgotten Hotmail password that was saved to auto log in on the iPad?

Asad asks:

My dad has an iPad 2. He forgot the password for Hotmail, but he made it auto log in. The password saved in mail. He can open the mail on his iPad, but he wants to know the password.

How can he recovery it? Any app for recovery?

    Have you tried the official password recovery option?

    I don’t know of any App that can access or view stored passwords. 

    Although there are working methods to get passwords from iTunes backups they are not officially available. The only way I know of requires your iOS device to be jailbroken. If that’s not the case I don’t see any chance recovering it via the iPad.
