The properties dialog box in Control Panel – Devices and Printers – Bluetooth chipset displays yellow triangle with Code 43 error for Bluetooth chipset. Please tell how to resolve it. I tried drivers uninstall and then reinstall drivers and Registry Cleaner. But the Bluetooth icon is not yet displayed in bottom right corner as was displayed as before.

    Method 3:

I would suggest you to install the driver for Sony Ericsson Xperia x8 Mobil phone drives and check if it helps.

If you are using a laptop consult its manual about any hotkeys or physical switches that may be able to enable and disable Bluetooth. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled/active, restart your system and check again.

On occasion such switches can cause a hardware fault to be (falsely) detected.

The uninstall and reinstall and Registry cleaner worked to resolve code as of now. But please tell , why the bluetooth icon has stopped showing in bottom right corner as few days earlier. I heard that win update may be reason. Please suggest

The Bluetooth icon could have been accidentally removed from the notification area. To re-enable it, click on Start and type 'bluetooth'. Select the 'Change Bluetooth settings' option. Select the 'Show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area' option and click on Apply.

hi Bruce, I understand your answer. Please see that the "change blue tooth settings" is not in Start - type Bluetooth search results. Also , in customize icon in bottom right corner does not show option to hide/display bluetooth icon. The icon used to display few weeks back , since when pc has been updating windows. I heard that win update may be reason. a) Please suggest

and b) would installing a third-party bluetooth software ( to add and connect to bluetooth devices ) would help alternatively?

      c) If b) is true , then Please tell download links for the respective software for Windows 7 Ultimate

On running troubleshooter , about three error statements pointing that driver problem...kind of microsoft teredo bus controller..SM bus controller driver..another statement Hardware changes might not have been detected..and also mention that "WIndows update configured to never install drivers - Driver updates aren't automatically installed when detected by Windows Update.

and bluetooth icon in bottom right not yet detected

Thank you! No internet access problem! I would surely like to set to update drivers to resolve bluetooth icon for audio output to bluetooth earphones. The Microsoft teredo and SMBus may have been detected in the troubleshoot , but seems a by product of the process and not connected to bluetooth dongle hardware

It seems that win update has cause bluetooth icon removed as I read in blogs. Please see and reply

      January 12, 2015 at 4:09 pm

Thanks. I looked into your mentioned link and your instructions ( Power management tab ) with care and followed your instruction as re-confirmed in the link which you specified.

Inspite of following the process , the bluetooth icon is not yet showing on re-starting the pc

In same device manager , one of the adapter , under Network Adapter tree ie Microsoft Teredo Tunelling Adapter failed to show the menu for power management as in link
It was in the other adapter ie Realtek PCIe GBIe Family Controller of network adapter tree , that i could follow the process outlined by you

To also note , is that Microsoft Teredo Tunelling Adapter under "Network Adapter" and SM Bus Controller under "Other Devices" - both show yellow problem triangle. But am not sure if that is associated with the bluetooth point in this discussion

Am not even sure if uninstalling a particular Windows update may be a solution to this problem

Please see and reply if convenient for you

hi, it is by By removing and then reinstalling the CMOS battery you can also replace it
      http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000239.htm
resetting does not affect hd data

well if the problem started after windows update then it can be the problem so uninstalling the update(s) is advised.

      did you try this one

cfs /scannow will give you nothing but "'cfs' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file." The correct syntax for System File Checker is "sfc /scannow".

The error code 43 indicates one of two different problems for any hardware. Either the hardware has a fault that it is reporting to the driver or the driver itself is borked.

If you have uninstalled the driver and allowed the system to reinstall it and you have tried the latest driver available for the device and it is still reporting the same error, it is highly probable that the hardware is at fault.
