Why does my resolution reset to a lower value every time I open iTunes?

My resolution resets from the recommended 1920 x 1080 to 800 x 600 every time I open iTunes. How can I stop it?

iTunes: May not display all options at low screen resolutions
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1845

Find the iTunes.exe file. Right click on it and select Properties. Click the
Compatibility tab. Turn off all the options you see under here.
