How do I Reset CPU Overclock to normal??
Question by Jaxx /

I had overclocked My CPU when I bought it using the Easy Tune utility from Gigabyte. I had done that under Vista and now I use Windows 7.

Now I want to reset the settings to default, I tried installing Easy Tune and resetting it via the Quick boost mode. It shows Default but in the Intel Processor ID Utility it shows Overclocked. Did a BIOS reset too (Clear CMOS).

Help me out here.

Normally you can enter the BIOS and select "Load Optimized Defaults" or similar.

There should be a setting in your BIOS somewhere. I am not sure of the exact details, sorry
