How can I remove write protection from my SanDisk flash?

My flash says when I want to use it that it is write protected.

If you are using a SD card adaptar check for a little switch in the left side of it… turn off the lock condition.

perhaps like this
Start > Run “cmd”
type–> diskpart
type–> list volume
type–> select volume #
type–> attributes disk clear readonly
type–> x:\>attrib -r /s /d (X= memory card)

Memory card is write protected or locked

it won’t help friend.. i also have a pen-drive that is write protected – i also tried editing registry but nothing helping me….

If pain Drive is show write protection…
go to Start menu > click on run (regedit) > delete (Storagedevicepolicies)
now restart your pc … ok done

try low-level formating (truly speaking it may or maynot work because low level formating is a manufacturer tools and they already have done it. there are merely tools for it no matter what they claim)

I think there is a small switch somewhere on your SD card, just slide it up/down.

there will be a small switch on the side of your flash simply move it up or down it will remove write protected.

what if the write protection property of the flash drive has been activated by the other computer (other computer such as the one at the computer shop or computer cafe,your friend’s computer etc) do i need to delete the so called “STORAGE DEVICE POLICIES” in the computer or do it in my own computer?

unable to format a 8GB Transcend pendrive… since it has been write protected while using the file recovery software..
tried a lot of solution
1) using diskpart cmd
2) cmd promt
3) flash recovery for transcend
4) Local-machine- root
and searching 4 other method kindly help so……
