July 30, 2011WGA is the anti-piracy system from Microsoft and is tied into the system. There is no legal way to remove it.
Also, if you manage to remove it [whichever way] there are chances that
(1) Windows might show unexpected errors
(2) WGA will be repaired and re-initiated during Microsoft Update
(3) certain software from Microsoft which requires WGA validation will not work.
