How can I remove a name from a group listing in Windows Live Mail?

Patrick Warnshuis asks:

The Live Mail EDIT only provides for ADDing a name to the list. You cannot remove a name from the list while leaving it in your contacts, as far as I can tell. How do you do it?

Go to the Category the individual is listed under and right-click their contact entry. In the context menu, select Remove from Category.

At last a solution – for me.

I cannot believe this problem has been notified so many times and the experts are dumb-founded. It has plagued me for years. M$oft nor Facebook don’t want to know.

I am no programmer or expert but this is what I found. The error appears to be in Boost C++ libraries (add-ons for C++ programming) that are not properly installed.

Probably installed by some software that needed them.

I can’t find out how to repair/uninstall them but if they are reinstalled the problem goes away. Go to http://www.boostpro.com/download/
