I have a couple hundred “friends” that have NO “Unfriend” buttons on them. When browsing through your friends the names appear in blue and are a hyperlink. Several of these “friends names’ titles are in black and have no hyper-link. When I click on these “fake friends” It just opens a new tab duplicating the page I am on currently. When I click on the “about” button under a “fake friend” name, it opens a new tab that says “page not found”! I realize some of these friends could have deleted their account, but how do I remove them? I am showing 5200+ friends (which is above the 5000 friend limit on FB and I have 350+ people in my friend request que w/about 30 I would like to add immediately, because they ARE personal friends of mine. The regular FB channel of “Unfriending does NOT work to remove these people I have mentioned. Does ANYONE know how I can accomplish this? Thanks for any help.

October 12, 2012I think these friends are listed as your friends but the system is limiting you only to keep them but not to interact. try removing some friends with the remove link working then try to remove those friends you have mentioned. or else, I think most of the friends you are talking have left FB.

October 12, 2012If someone on your Friends List deleted their account they are normally deleted from your Friends List. I’d email the Facebook team and see if they can help you personally. Good Luck!
