What is the best remote control software?

Would like to work remotely. Would like to control / access applications on the home computer, but be able to print locally.

    I agree with Mike, I'm a huge fan of free to use TeamViewer. I've never tried the others, as once I used TV I knew that it was 'the one'. In case you don't like TV, check out some related articles.

    Hello, as long as the printer is shared in your network, you could also use Live Mesh:

    From the ones mentioned before, I always go back to using Teamviewer.  UltraVnc is pretty good and free:

    As for the remote control software you can make your pick:
    TeamViewer, GoToAssist, LogMeIn Pro, Mikigo ...

    As for printing a remote document on a local printer I only know of LogMeIn Pro supporting it by default.

    For the others they only state to support "printing a local document on a remote printer". But you could probably setup a secure connection via VPN or Hamachi, share your local printer and install it on the remote machine.
