How can I reinstall iTunes app or recover the icon on my iPod Touch?

I’ve recently noticed that I am missing my app or icon for the iTunes apps store. Does anyone know how I would go about retrieving it? I have an iPod Touch 2nd generation.

Hello, did you not post this question a few days ago?

If the possible solution there did not work, you could have given some feedback so that other solutions could have been posted.

No problem, the important thing is that your issue was solved regardless of what answer you use.

You can try to follow the steps mentioned here about enabling Restrictions within Settings > General and turning it off again.

Other then that I can only think of a restore via iTunes because neither the iTunes nor the App Store icon (whichever you are really missing) can be deleted by default.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again? (There may have been changes to the firmware that require a reboot). You may also use the Spotlight Search to find the application. Also, make sure that you do not have restrictions enabled (Settings -> General -> Restrictions)
