    Use a partition manager such as GParted and burn it to a disk. Boot from that disk and partition the OS and then reboot with your installation media inserted.

    Use your windows dvd and boot from it.  There are numerous tools on it to recover or reformat your drive.

    you can boot on Hiren’s boot cd and use the partition tools section.

    there is also mini windows xp on  Hiren’s boot cd that you can boot on it and save some datas to other drives.

    Hello, depending on what the problem is, you could also try fixing the problem.  Anyways, it is better to start fresh once in a while.
