How can I recover my messages on a microSD card after a virus hid them?

I used microSD card as a inbox memory in my Nokia N97. A virus hid all my messages. Please tell me how I fix it.

1) Go into your microSD Card
2) Go into Options and Choose folder options
3) Choose “Show hidden files” and Click Apply
