How can I recover a drive volume I deleted via Windows Disk Management?

I accidentally deleted a drive via Disk Management in Windows. How can I recover it? Please help – we’re talking about 450GB of important stuff here!

Try clicking “Rescan Disks” on the Action Menu. I don’t think that will hurt as a preliminary step to using recovery software. Maybe the disk and partition is still intact.
