Sim Cherer asks:
My Technics 1400 keyboard has a floppy disk drive, a “computer” 8 pin nini-din socket, but no USB socket. How can I adapt something so that I can insert and record to a USB disk?

December 19, 2011There is no good way to do this, as there will be not pre-made cable to do it with. The tough part is finding the pinout of that connector so that a cable could be made… which I have not found yet.
But there is still a problem, Even with a cable there is not much guarantee that it will work, because the keyboard itself will probably not recognize a usb flash drive. You will find alot of mini din to usb, Mostly 6 pin mini din PS2 connector. I did find a 8 pin din to USB Male but would not be much help.
