Osama Javaid asks:
How can I record in-game footage for Machinima? I used FRAPS, but it makes huge videos of around 1GB for only 4 minutes.

July 21, 2012FRAPS is probably the best solution to use for grabbing your in-game footage, but it attempts to be as light on the CPU as possible so it does not apply very much compression to the output file. You can edit it in Windows Movie Maker to get better compression (and smaller file sizes) after you do your initial grab. It will also convert the .AVI to .WMV format which allows playback on more types of devices.

July 23, 2012You could try Overwolf : http://www.overwolf.com/Features/Video-Recorder. It has a record feature that allows you to save the files of gameplay to your harddrive, or share them on social sites such as twitter or facebook.
