I want to use a free software and dictate to the computer and have the software type out the words as well as space, new paragragh, comma, periods, new chapters etc.

What is available now that can do this dictation on my CPU with Windows XP?

There are plenty of useful Answers in the topic posted by Tina e.g. Dragon Dictate by Nuance (http://www.nuance.com/dragon/index.htm)

There just isn't any [substitute with positiv adjektive] known freeware on the market.

Agree, I am yet to find a good speech to text freeware. All good ones are rather costly.
