Rebecca Melrose asks:
I’d like to be able to delete all the favorites I have in my computer, but I still want to be able to access them. That’s why I was looking for maybe a bookmark organizing site where I could upload all my favorites to. I tried Xmarks, but they stay synched with your bookmarks. When I started deleting the ones in my browser they did too. I hope you can help. Thanks.

August 19, 2012There is a web service called SurfOn . You can install the extension on Firefox or Chrome and save tab(s) to view later. It’s not quite what you’re asking but perhaps you or others searching your question will like the plugin.

August 20, 2012Salam,
Did you try Delicious? You just need to open an account in http://delicious.com and easily import you current bookmarks from any browser. You can also make them private or public.

August 27, 2012Hello, the feature you’re looking for may be set up in your xmarks; go to: settings>status (Firefox of the add on) and in the “Account” section click on the “Run Setup Wizard” button; there you’ll find this window: http://yfrog.com/od22hdp where you may set up the feature to get what you desire. Let me know if has worked and contact me via twitter if not. Thank you.

September 23, 2012http://www.diigo.com FTW. Found this to be a wonderful Bookmarking solution, Was using delicious before, but they had a lot of downtime over the last 2 months and found Diigo to be very easy to use. Their bookmarklet is one of the best I’ve seen!
