I’m designing a card game in VB.net. Can any one recommend a good card dll I can use and abuse? Early stages at the moment, so I’m open to functionality. Would simply be nice to have something I can start with and build upon.

Had this knocking around for (literally) years; Stephen Murphy's 'QCard32.dll'. It's at least 10 years old but it's a place to start. The '.rar' includes the help file as well as a VB6 demo - which should be easy enough to update.
Hope it's of some use to you: http://cid-b8650150652b0327.office.live.com/self.aspx/Unblock/Cards.rar
