Can you recommend a backup and folder sharing solution for a small business?

Jonathan Buck asks:

We are a small business. We have about 5 Macs (and some iPads) and we need something that automatically backs up those computers online each on its own. Also we need a shared webfolder to access data which must be available to all our colleagues and must be big enough to hold large amounts of files (photos and other data).

Is there a all-in-one solution for that on the market? Greetings, Jo

Have you thought of using a Dropbox plan? It doesn’t automatically make backups but you could use it to save your important files. You may have to end up using two services or at least another app to backup your data and have a shared folder.

The best option according to me is Dropbox. It lets you sync, backup and share all your data. If Dropbox is installed on the devices, then as soon as there is change on one there will be change on the other too. You’ll have to give some fee due to the free space being only two GB. But for sharing and backup Dropbox is the one.

Dropbox and Google Drives are the best solution, but it doesn’t automatically back up files, you have to drag it in. you can try what the mac has to offer which is Time Machine, but you must set it up individually on each counts of Mac (then again you have to set up everyone on each count anyways)

I highly recommend google drive for folder and file storage and editing. It is also super easy to use and is free.It can also backup folders and files but you need to upload manually. It also has a iOS app. If you need a automated backup get apple’s time capsule. It connects to your office network and back’s up your computers automatically.
