Why can I not read some links from MakeUseOf?

In latest email of “This weeks most popular tips & articles”, when I click on link for article “How to remove computer viruses at home for free” I get unreadable gibberish. A full page with lots of random characters.

Can’t figure it out. Using Windows 7 Home Premium and same thing happens using IE or FF browsers.

    Hi Ernest,

We had a temporary issue couple of days ago that might have caused it but even than it was for a very short time. Do you still notice this? Does it disappear when you refresh the page using 'Ctrl + F5' combination.

    Let me know,
    Aibek

Thanks for the help folks. Aibek, it still came up unreadable, but was ok after the refresh. Thanks again. Ernie

It could also be a corrupted font issue. Go to your Fonts folder via Control Panel. Arrange it in the Detail view. Delete any font that's showing a size of zero. Or you can also remove them to a different folder elsewhere.

It looks like an encoding issue or you don't have the necessary fonts installed. Apart from that, I am not sure how to fix it.
