Is there a way to get old posts from a blog regularly via an RSS feed?

Hi there! I know many blogs that posted really good stuff a few years back but have become inactive now. I want to read the posts but it is very inconvenient to go to the blog’s website daily and read one post and remember which ones you have read. So, is there a service that can periodically deliver these old posts as an RSS feed? (I remember hearing about one such service which sends one post daily, but I forgot about it and can’t find it again). Any help would really be appreciated :)

RSS/Atom feeds does not allow for historic information to be retrieved. It is up to the publisher of the feed to provide it if they want such as in the blogger or wordpress examples you gave above.

    RSS to email

    Old Post Promoter

i think in the IE and FireFox Feed Reader, there is an option that you can set to show you the last X number of days (where X is a numerical value).
