How can I play YouTube videos without a pause?

Miles C asks:

Why do some YouTbe videos not allow me to pause to “build” the video up in the buffer or cache so the video plays without jumping?

Is there anyway to play these pausing videos on YouTube?

I’ve noticed that some videos will stop loading after a while as well. One thing I’ve found to help a lot is to just download the video using Video DownloadHelper for Firefox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006/

Since I don’t know what you have installed on your computer, I have to mention that you might need to install some codecs to be able to play them, especially if you plan to watch them in FLV format, but I would suggest aiming for MP4 format if it’s available. Once you have it downloaded, you won’t have to wait for it to buffer anymore.

Another great addon for Firefox to do the same thing is 1-Click Youtube Video Downloader available here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13990/
It puts links right on the page so you don’t even have to start loading the video for it to be detected.
