July 30, 2012Firstly,if you care for previous owner’s privacy as he had forgot to clear his data then factory reset your tablet by -
Going to Settings –> Privacy –> uncheck the box “Back up my data”, “Automatic Restore” –>Factory data reset.
Note : Backup your own data if you have to other place.
Next thing is that to set up your Google account.
Install updates of your OS by going to Settings –>About Device –>Software update.
You can update also by using Kies desktop software -
http://www.samsungapps.com/about/onPc.as
If IceCream Sandwich update is available, then you will get new look and speed.
After that you can set up new Facebook account(if there’s specific Facebook available) or get some tablet optimized Facebook app such as Friendcaster.
Next is if you like to have some launcher app for your tablet then GoLauncher HD is free and good –
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.go.launcherpad&hl=en
You can drag and drop widgets on the homescreens.

July 30, 2012You should reset to factory defaults if you bought a used tablet. To do this, go to Settings from the Apps list, Select Privacy – Factory data reset – Reset Tablet – Erase everything.
This will format the tablet and once it loads up again, it will ask you for your gmail id and you’re ready to setup everything else
thank u so much!, this was the perfect solution, perfection!!! muchisimas grasias chica! resulto perfectamente, que tengas un buen dia guapa
