How can I partition a USB drive?

Chris Cunningham asks:

I want to partition my SanDisk USB flash drive in multiple partitions. I can’t use the old Lexar BootIt program to flip the “removable bit”. Is there any other way to partition a USB drive?

Hello, if you are using vista/windows 7 you can use disk management to partition your drive.  If you are planning to do it this way, I would format the disk first.  I thought I would show you the following first:

Here is another option on how to do it:

BootIt utility by Lexar:

Bootice is a very powerful partition and MBR tool, it works with portable or internal drives. It is portable and requires no installation.
