Why does Outlook 2010 not open?

Rob Carpenter asks:

I have installed Office Home and Business 2010. I am running Windows 7 and Outlook will not open. All other Office programs are running, it is just Outlook. Thanks.

Can you see Outlook process among running processes (Ctrl+Alt+Del) after launching it?
