How do I open PDF files with Internet Explorer?

Internet Explorer asks me if I’d like to Save or Run” but does neither. I have downloaded Adobe Reader, but it was no help.

    To oen pdf files,upload them to google docs and view them without any other software.

    abput reader :Did you Download from the official site : http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=DINRS
    once you install acrobat reader,you can open pdf files.
    try to download from firefox or chrome.

    you can try Foxit Reader .
    its free and is better than Adobe .

    during installation , it would automatically associate and enable the option of opening the PDF files in your default browser .
    and you can make sure by starting Foxit > click on tools > Preferences > Associations > and then Enable , OPen PDF in BRowser .

    it would work ...

    Select Tools > Internet Options.
    In the Browsing History area of the General tab, click Delete.
    Select Temporary Internet Files and deselect all other options. Then click Delete. 
    Click OK when prompted, and then click OK to close Internet Options.
    Try to download the PDF again from the website.
