Why can I not open a jpeg email attachment?

Leonard,

Judging by your email address, you are using Gmail. Can you please tell us where you check our email? Do you check our email online (mail.google.com) or do you use a desktop application like Outlook?

Also, what happens when you try to view, open, or download the email attachment? Is there an error message?
