Why does my Nokia C2-01 turn off when I try to use themes?

When I try to open themes on my Nokia C2-01 the phone turns off. How can I resolve this problem?

try to reset the phone and see if will solve the problems, also may the themes are not compatible or ask much of memory that the phone can handle.

It is a known problem in nokia, when you open a particular option, the phone gets switched off.
without knowing the reason. I can’t suggest many things.

Which theme is currently applied ?
Try to apply the default nokia theme first, and then apply other themes.

if this does not work, soft reset the phone, but soft reset did not work for me, when i had a similar problem.

Check whether you have sufficient free phone memory, but generally nokia displays error about low memory when applying theme.
